10.A critical review of a website of one of the other participants

For this critical review I used the site Edwin Jacobs made. You can find his website in the link after the evaluation.
First impression;
When you first open the website it is clear that is has a very clean, neutral look. It has clear navigation on the left and its main content right in the middle. Which will focus attention right to the content. The only distracting parts are those he could not change, namely the advertisement.
Navigation;
When you are using the menu it is clear that he has not used the exact format given, this is a little bit confusing when searching for a certain task. The fact that all the items in the menu really are all the items on the site gives a great overview of all of the content and improves it usability a lot.
Content;
Edwin used nice work from his portfolio, unfortunately there is only one project. But the project that he used looks promising and the key words, animation, etc. is really complete. The projects he used for his comparison are also good examples for great architecture. This really shows he knows what he is talking about. Accordingly the comparison is very to the point.
His essay is really enjoyable to read and the key words are seamless integrated.
Summary;
The website really works as a whole and provides enough information as is required by the assignment. No bells and whistles, just clean information.
